Eric Williams has been employed in diverse capacities by Grand Rapids Community College, The University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Oakland University and Calvin College. In addition, he has owned a consulting firm for over 20 years having worked with over 250 state and national organizations. He has served as an elected official for the City of Grand Rapids as well as served on numerous boards and committees in West Michigan. He has a bachelor and masters degree from Oakland University.
Eric’s experiences are broad in that he has worked with organizations from diverse sectors including municipalities, higher education, K-12, nonprofits as well as the business industry. He has worked closely with leadership staff and employee bases to assist organizations with staff development issues. He is skilled in addressing issues around team conflict and establishing visions. He also has a strong background in diversity and inclusion audits and plans. His style is to build trusting relationships with staff to get buy-in as well as challenging management simultaneously with organizational change efforts. He is consistently rated as excellent by all members of the agencies that he serves.
